جسم کی دراڑوں سے روح نظر آنے لگی
-بہت اندر تک توڑ گیا مجھے عشق ’ تیرا

 If you ever get free time, 
count how many promises you have borrowed

کبھی تجھے فرصت ملے تو

گن لینا -کتنے وعدے ادھار ھیں تجھ پر

Meet everyone laughing, talking constantly
Have you ever seen someone’s mistake like that?

سبھی سے مِلنا ہنس ہنس کر ، مسلسل بولتے رہنا
 -کبھی کیا تم نے دیکھی ہے ، کسی کی خامشی یوں
 بھی ؟

When will the rain of touch fall
The desert of the body is asking

لَمس کی بارش کب برسے گی-
جسم کا صحرا پوچھ رہا ہے

She will write ghazal on my face
Her eyes while saying poetry

میرے چہرے پہ غزل لکھتی گی
–شعر کہتی ہوئی آنکھیں اُس کی
